On Tuesday 23rd September, the Safer Air Project’s CEO and founder, Plum Stone, travelled to New York to speak at Healthy Indoor Air: A Global Call to Action – the inaugural high-level side event on indoor air quality (IAQ), held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

We spoke to Dr. Claire Bird and Derek Shearer ahead of this year’s AIRAH Indoor Air Quality conference about why indoor air quality is something everyone should care about regardless of health status, why personal stories are a key part of driving technical change, and what we can look forward to at this year’s conference.
