Volunteer opportunity: Grants and fundraising support (Remote)
Help us grow our impact by securing new funding opportunities.
The Safer Air Project is looking for a detail-oriented volunteer to support our grants and fundraising efforts. Your work will help ensure we can continue delivering practical tools, resources and advocacy to improve indoor air quality across Australia.
Key duties:
Research and identify relevant grants from trusts, foundations, and government sources
Assist with drafting grant applications and gathering supporting documentation
Support the planning of fundraising campaigns
Help develop donor updates, case studies, and impact stories
Skills and experience:
Strong writing and communication skills
An organised approach and good attention to detail
Experience with grants, fundraising, or non-profit administration
A genuine interest in health equity and inclusion
Time commitment: Flexible – ideally 2-4 hours per week.
Volunteer opportunity: Social media support (Remote)
Help us spread the word about cleaner, healthier indoor air.
The Safer Air Project is seeking a creative, digitally-savvy volunteer to support our social media channels. You’ll play an important role in helping us raise awareness and build momentum for safer indoor air across schools, workplaces, healthcare and community settings.
Key duties:
Assist with content planning and creation
Create and schedule posts across Instagram, LinkedIn, Bluesky, and Facebook
Design engaging graphics, videos and story content aligned with our visual identity
Help us grow our online community
Skills and experience:
Experience using Adobe Express, Canva or similar design tools
Experience using social media scheduling tools
Strong visual storytelling and communication skills
A genuine interest in health equity and inclusion
Time commitment: Flexible – ideally 2-4 hours per week.
